Scott Mitchell Studio
Create a building with humanism through honest expression and integrity, with a refined sense of order, scale and materiality, to create space beyond utility and style.
Scott Mitchell Studio is a Los Angeles-based interior design studio founded in 1999 by founder Scott Mitchell. Since then, the studio has completed a series of private homes, often inspired by the clean modernism of respected architects such as Richard Meier, Charles Gwathmey, Louis i. Kahn and Rudolph m. Schindler.
Scott Mitchell Studio offers an exploration of a range of the best housing projects, a journey that feels like it's never been taken before. In the 20 years since their establishment, they have gone from a dynamic studio to one embraced by idealism.
Scott Mitchell's house is characterized by a unique use of light and materials, with tactile, soft textures and concrete and natural materials placed on center stage, with a strong, unified aesthetic that became the signature of the studio. Scott Mitchell's work effortlessly balances ventilation, geometry, contemporary architecture with comfortable, subtle luxury.
